Methyl end-stopped dimethylpolysiloxane, low molecular weight polybutene and hydrogenated alkane oil were used as plasticizer in RTV-1 alcohol-silicone sealant and the properties of there sealants was studied.

The results show that methyl end-stopped dimethylpolysiloxane remarkably lower modulus and improve movement ability of silicone sealant, while incompatibility of low molecular weight polybutene to polysiloxane lead to negative effect on adhesion.
