In order to develop the cheap chromatic filler which can enhance rubber, we compounded natual rubber with hydrated calcium silicate powder which entirely replaces carbon black.

The results showed that the Mooney viscosity of blends decreased with the increase of temperature from 60 ℃ to 90 ℃ and the decreasing trend of pure CR compounded rubber stock was faster than that of compounded rubber stocks of pure EPDM and CR/ EPDM blends.
