tight, tightly
这两个词都可作副词用。它们的区别在于:
1.tight除可用作副词外,还可用作形容词; tightly只能作副词用。例如:
She clung tightly to her few remaining possessions.她紧紧抓住她仅有的一些财物不肯放手。
2.tight使用范围较广; tightly常用在助动词与过去分词之间。例如:
The stands were tightly packed for the important match.看台上观众满座,观看这场重要的比赛。
3.tight的比较级和最高级为tighter和tightest; 而tightly的比较级和最高级是more tightly和most tightly。例如:
Tie the string more tightly on that parcel or it may come undone.把这包裹上的绳子捆得更牢些,否则会散包的。
